My name  is Bill Von Elm, and I am asking for your vote for President of Spinnler Point. Currently I am a Board of Director, and held the position since 2017 working with 3 administratons. I have been the Dock and Areaway Chairman since 2016. While working as Dock Chairman  I worked with my committee to insure the docks are maintained throughout out the year. I Had all the  areaway docks replaced, installed gangplanks for all docks,  added more safety buoys, and work with the Lake Commission to install 12 additional dock slips for the furture. As Areaway Chairman I created from your idea the kayak and canoe storage racks, refurbished the boat ramp, and maintain each areaway. I was also Chairman of the Enrichment  Committee that built new areaway Bulletin boards, flowers,landscaping, paintiing the entrance signs and dock stairways. Also I was was on the By-law Committee,and a member of the Lake Wallenpaupack Association Board.

I am ready to work with the board to create a budget for community projects. I will continue maintaining our roads, and drainage systems, draft a plan for extreme yearly weather events to keep the roads safe. I will listen to your ideas, and concerns,  bringing the community back to a family friendly place to live.

Cynthia and I have been here since 1987 spending weekends with my parents having a good time and enjoying the community and the lake. In 2001 we bought land and built our home as a resident. After 24 years we have decided to become full time residents this year.
